Pirates of the Caribbean movie

I never liked the movie pirates of the Caribbean and had not even watched it. It was few months ago that I was alone at home and was getting bored. Out of the collection, I had watched every movie except Pirate of the Caribbean. So, I decided to just pass the time by watching this flick. To my amazement, it turned out to be a very nice movie and then I watched all the four movies of the serial in next two days. Let me introduce some of the interesting facts to you about this serial.
Production of the serial

The first movie was released in 2003, second in 2006, third in 2007 and the last one in 2011. Fifth serial is being planned to be released in 2014. First three movies were directed by Gore Verbinski and the last one by Rob Marshal. Johnny Depp has played the lead role in all four flicks and the movies have been released and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. Some people criticize that the movie serial is loosely based upon the video game “Monkey Island”.

Brief stories of films
The four films are inter connected and in the following lines, the stories have been presented briefly.

The Curse of the Black Pearl – 2003 – Captain Black Sparrow and Will Turner, the Blacksmith, join hands to save daughter of the governor from former pirate allies of Jack Sparrow.
Dead Man’s Chest – 2006 – Captain Jack Sparrow escaped and Will Turner is arrested for helping Jack to escape. Jack meanwhile, wants to settle score with Davy Jones by finding the Dead Man’s Chest.
At World’s End – 2007 – Davy Jones is defeated by Lord Beckett and plans are afoot to destroy piracy for good. Opponents are also planning are preparing for the battle.
On Stranger Tides – 2011- Captain Jack, his former lover, Angelica and the former pirate Captain Babossa are all in search of Fountain of Youth. Take a look at some of the costumes here http://www.piratewalk.com
