Pirates Fancy Gown Costumes at the movies
Pirates, thieves that roam the seas in search of gold, thieves that fascinate us with their dare devil adventures, once again captivate everyone with amazingly realistic pirate costumes and dangerous quests for treasure and hidden jewels, in the film Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl, released in 2003, starring the world famous Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, along with Keira Knightley played the role of Elizabeth Swann and Orlando Bloom the role of Will Turner.
The story starts shows us how Will Turner teams up with Captain Jack Sparrow, who is in search of his ship, to rescue Will’s love Elizabeth who was kidnapped by the immortal, undead pirates of the Black Pearl who seek to break the curse that they set upon themselves when they stole cursed pieces of Aztec gold. The story was likely taken from a Disney theme ride and truined into a huge success, mostly due to the famous, witty and hilarious character of Johnny Depp, Jack Sparrow.
The realistic costumes, especially Jack Sparrow’s, for the movie were designed by the creative Penny Rose and those costumes are the compulsory part of today’s costume parties. Sparrow was given dreadlocks, along with a red bandanna tied on his head along with numerous objects that hang in his hair and kohl in his eyes plus contacts that act as sunglasses. Depp’s character also had several gold teeth and a goatee in two braids. Jack also had various tattoos. In clothing, Sparrow’s leather hat is the most famous and unique from all the others. Officially Depp wears a light silk coat and leather boots. His accessories consist of weapons that are 18th century pieces, a sword and two pistols, both of which were made in London, along with Sparrow’s magic compass and four rings.
Other characters were all given their own distinctive features, such as Will Turner, while most of their accessories to their pirate costumes were more or less the same.
