Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End gives us another action-filled story with amazing characters that give off a very original pirate glow thanks to their creative designer, Penny Rose, who has given each character a wonderful pirate costume with its own unique look. These contributions of Rose helped the movie to be nominated for the Academy Award for Makeup and Academy Award for Visual Effects.
Directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the movie became a box office hit and ended up becoming 2007’s most successful movie shooting down all the critical reviews that were set to the movie.
The movie was certainly a hit, with its amazing story, outstanding characters, and many hidden surprises included in the movie. But of course, the star of the movie was, like always Johnny Depp, at his best performance. His excellent acting skills along with his genuine pirate costume really outshined him and once more made him the star of the show, like always.
