"Lady E" was born in th' midst o' a squall 'board th' good ship Chaos t' Cap'n an' Mrs. Robert Baron. Upon her birth, she be wrapped in a seagull-pooped Jolly Roger an' bestowed as a gift t' th' bilge monkey. Th' bilge monkey be not amused.

"Lady E" eventually escaped th' bilges at th' tender age o' 39, when her ship (an' heart) be captured by none other than th' Dreadlock Pirate Nicholas. Charmed by his British accent, natural ringlets an' tight leather breeches, she agreed t' be his wench fer th' rest o' thar days.

Eleyne Austen Sharp has spent 27 years as a freelance writer, copywriter, publicist, editor, author and events producer.

An Air Force brat who has lived in Missouri, Texas, Alaska, Italy, Germany, Massachusetts, Colorado and Virginia, Sharp eventually moved to Newport, Rhode Island, where she became actively involved in the writing community as the founder and executive director of Community Writers Association, a national non-profit organization which hosted the Newport Writers Conference and other programs for six years.

She formed her book publishing and events promotion company, Austen Sharp LLC, in 1996 and is the author of Haunted Newport and Pirate Fever! Additionally, she has produced numerous events, including Haunted Newport, Flying Popcorn! International Children's Film Festival, Newport Metaphysical Faire, PirateFest and Cap'n Nick's Newport Pirate Walk.

Sharp founded Kid Filmmakers in 2002 and has served as the Program Director for the Newport Writers Conference, Providence Writers Conference, New England Screenwriters Conference, ScriptBiz screenwriting seminar, KidsEye International Film Festival and KidsEye filmmaking camp.

A certified color therapist since 2006, Sharp conducts color appreciation and "rainbow writing" workshops and is currently completing her book, Write By Color.
